Epic Fail

So, I realise I've been very lax in posting regularly. Lots going on.

There is a value in RSVPing that a lot of people fail to get. I will admit to being terrible at sending paper RSVPs, but I will at least let people know personally that I'm attending something. I invited a whole host of people for July 4, and the only people who responded were my family and people who I reminded. It's a little frustrating, because this is typical.

I have a serious problem with people bailing on plans, ignoring invites, or just not giving a straight answer. The worst is when you invite someone to every event you hold, but they still can't even bother to respond, and never attend, while they never invite you to anything they hold, but never seem to have the courage to say that they just don't want to spend time with you. If you don't invite them, they act slighted or you just mysteriously never hear from them.

It's possibly one of my biggest pet peeves. Hence, the mini rant.

Aside from that, I've been wondering about some strange things lately. I'll touch on them next post.
